We are seeking an experienced portfolio manager to collaborate with Flippy's thematic basket offerings. The ideal PM will have both a solid macroeconomic understanding of the market and a robust understanding of the crypto projects that are currently in the ecosystem. This role provides you with massive ownership over the product and its offerings. You will leverage fact based analyses, insights from the market, and blockchain research to build these bespoke portfolios with Flippy.
You will have to:
Build for the first users and early adopters. Be very comfortable with zero to one journeys.
Have a strong background in crypto, (and/or) equity, commodity, and derivative trading strategies
Conduct research on the project whitepapers to understand the fundamental value of the tokens and their tokenomics
Collaborate with project owners and leaders in the space
Build an investment thesis for each basket and pick the right projects for each basket
Use both fundamental and technical analysis to select coins and assign their corresponding weights for thematic baskets
Build both passive and active portfolios based on both thematic and thesis-based investment strategies
Brownie points if you have:
Strong understanding of crypto trading platforms
Past experience of working in a fintech/crypto startup and/or an understanding of the ethos of the crypto community
Past experience working as a trader / portfolio manager in leading financial services companies / investment banks
Strong professional history in building portfolios with external capital
Background in API based / high frequency trading using Python or similar languages
Stack at Flippy:
Design: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD
Frontend: React Native for mobile-app, React/NodeJS for web-app
Backend: Python, Flask, NodeJS, NoSQL, Redis
Cloud: AWS (Cognito, EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway)
Compensation:
Total CTC → Industry leading (includes both equity and cash compensation)
