PlotBox is building a new generation of eCommerce experiences for cemeteries, including memorial trees, flowers, and commemorative offerings that let families stay connected to their loved ones.

As our Strategy & Operations Lead – eCommerce, you will act as a strategic right-hand to the Head of eCommerce, helping drive forward early-stage initiatives with organization, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration.

This is a hybrid role combining elements of business strategy, product execution, project management, and data analysis. You will help translate ideas into action, identify insights from eCommerce data, and support operational buildout across functions like product, customer success, marketing, and technology.

What you will do :

Execution & Program Support

• Turn strategic goals into structured plans, timelines, and to-do lists
• Manage documentation, follow-ups, and action item tracking across eCommerce workstreams
• Assist in preparing executive summaries, investor decks, and stakeholder presentations
• Maintain knowledge bases, FAQs, and training documents to support customer onboarding and internal alignment

Cross-Functional Project Management

• Coordinate efforts across Product, Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance teams
• Support product launches by communicating requirements, tracking status, and resolving blockers
• Collaborate with CSMs to identify and onboard eCommerce customers
• Work with external vendors such as flower fulfillment or memorial tree providers to operationalize delivery

Strategy & Analysis

• Analyze eCommerce performance (web traffic, transactions, conversion rates) using tools like Google Analytics and customer data platforms
• Build models and forecasts to support pricing, revenue planning, and new product or service launches
• Help define and refine ideal customer profiles based on behavior and purchase history
• Conduct competitive and market research to support strategic decisions

Data & Performance Monitoring

• Assist in building dashboards and visualizations for tracking performance and key metrics
• Identify additional data opportunities to improve business visibility and operational efficiency
• Create lightweight SQL queries or spreadsheet-based analyses to uncover insights
• Bring data to life with clear storytelling for internal or external use

What we are looking for :

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar consulting, strategy or eCommerce role

• Strong business analysis skills with proven ability to link data to strategy
• Confident with data and comfortable working in spreadsheets, Google Analytics, and basic modeling
• Ability to confidently present ideas, solutions, and strategies to customers
  

Desirable Experience -Its not a deal breaker, but ideally you will have:

• Experience with Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
• Prior experience with customer onboarding, training materials, or help center documentation
• Exposure to early-stage product development or legacy industry transformation
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other tools for querying and light automation
