Compensation Range:
£50,000 - 60,000 base salary
£20,000 - £25,000 commission
Equity dependent on experience
🔨 What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Business Development Team Lead to motivate and coach our BDR team as well as directly engaging and building relationships within new accounts, helping to generate qualified opportunities for the Sales team. You’ll report directly to the Head of Revenue and will play a critical role in the Stotles growth story.
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with the Growth team to contribute to lead generation strategy and convert campaign leads from MQL to SQL.
Establish, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the BDR Team and work with Sales Leaders, Growth and Revenue Ops to improve business development processes and enhance efficiency and conversion rates.
Be instrumental in building an effective outbound sales methodology with effective content (timely, relevant, value based) specific to each vertical and segment.
Monitor individual and team performance and provide metrics based coaching to the BDR Team, addressing opportunities for improvement openly and proactively and fostering a positive, motivating and results oriented environment.
Leading by example through customer prospecting and lead qualifying.
Managing and configuring sales development tools to support the BDR team's efforts, eg Hubspot, Cognism.
Ensuring that Hubspot sequencing, configuration, outreach, and workflows are in place to form effective campaigns and lead distribution to the team.
Creating and updating training materials, scripts, and documentation for the BDR team and implementing ongoing development plans for BDR’s to develop within Stotles.
Documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lead generation and qualification.
⌨️ Who We're Looking For
4 years experience in sales or business development, ideally in a growing SaaS company.
Coaching ability with a track record of leading and motivating a successful team to achieve target.
Strong knowledge of sales process, lead generation, and qualification. Leading by example and providing guidance to the BDR team on sales tactics and strategies, particularly in effective prospecting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high EQ, demonstrated with both internal relationships and external leads and prospects.
Analytical and data-driven approach - competency in analysing data, metrics, and performance indicators and the ability to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and adjust tactics accordingly.
Familiarity with configuring lead sequencing and workflows in CRM (preferably Hubspot).
